The official Press Conference of the 2010 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship will be held on Tuesday, January 19 at 12:00, in the Sky City Convention Centre.

The International Surfing Association, Quiksilver and Surfing New Zealand would like to invite all media to attend this event or follow the coverage through the contest website: www.isaworldjuniors.com. The following surfing stars and sports personalities will be present:

Fernando Aguerre – ISA President
Greg Townsend – Surfing New Zealand Chief Executive
Martin Potter – Legend, 1989 World Champion, Quiksilver Representative
Jane Dent – Tourism New Zealand, Public Relations General Manager

Maxime Huscenot (FRA)
- Boys Under 18 bronze medal in the 2009 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship
- Recently crowned ASP Pro Junior World Champion

Tyler Wright (AUS)
- Girls Under 18 gold medal in the 2009 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship
- Girls Under 18 silver medal in the 2008 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship

Sarah Mason (NZL)
- New Zealand rising surfing star that will be competing in the Girls Under 18 division.

Keanu Asing (HAW)
- Boys Under 16 gold medal in the 2009 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship

When: Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 12:00.

Who: Fernando Aguerre, Greg Townsend, Martin Potter, Jane Dent, Maxime Huscenot, Tyler Wright, Sarah Mason and Keanu Asing.

Why: Because the biggest surfing contest in the world for Under 18 surfers is right around the corner!
Media registration will start at 11:00am, also in the Sky City Auckland Convention Centre, Room New Zealand 3, on the 5th floor.
