BALI, INDONESIA — Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia (CCAI) continues to have a good day in the sun, choosing Pro Surfer Mustofa Jeksen as the latest member of CCAI Talents. The 22-year-old Mus just signed a year contract to be part of the Coke Surf Team, alongside Pro Surfers Tipi Jabrik and Dede Suryana.

Bruce Waterfield, Business Services Director of CCAI, commented, “We couldn’t be more pleased than having Mus in the team. He is an incredible young talent and our program is designed specifically to support young Indonesians, such as Mus, to help achieve their sporting potential.”

“We live in a country that has arguably the best surf in the world,” Waterfield added. “And we want to use the opportunity to support Indonesian surfers to achieve their dreams through an activity that demonstrates an active and healthy lifestyle.”

Mus has been surfing since he was 6 years old, mentored by Made Switra, one of Bali’s surf legends. He finished 4th in the Rip Curl Cup Padang-Padang (Invitation Only) earlier this year, and won his first Coca-Cola Indonesian Surfing Championship Tour contest in 2009, the  6-Star Oakley Pro 2009 at Canggu Beach.

“It’s a huge honor for me to be part of CCAI Talents. My goal is to explore bigger waves, and become the first Indonesian world champion. Being part of CCAI now, I hope I can inspire other Indonesian youth to uphold Indonesia’s name in the world through sports,” said Mus.
