Rusty Gromfest Ready to Rock Kuta Beach

With a pumping swell forecasted and a reeling left bank resting firmly intact beneath the warm waters of 'Halfway' Kuta Beach, this weekend's Rusty Gromfest 2011 is looking to be a cracker.

Now in it's 4th year, the Rusty Gromfest 2011 held in conjunction with the Coca-Cola Indonesian Surfing Championship (Coca-Cola ISC) provides young surfers with the opportunity to develop their competition skills in a fun environment at Bali's premiere beach break.

Rusty's surf team will be on hand to judge, including the current Coca-Cola ISC ratings leader Marlon Gerber who is amped to see the grom's shred.

"Every time I surf Halfway there's groms out there flairing. When they take over the line-up for the Gromfest I'll be looking out for big moves and explosive surfing".

Groms will be divided into three age groups - under 12, under 14, and under 16. Entry is FREE but slots are limited so be sure to sign up beforehand to beat the frenzy at the beach. Call Komang at 0361 768293 or email services@isctour.com.
