26 October 2011, Kuta-Bali:  Three of Roxy’s most beautiful and talented women pro surfers will be rocking up to the Roxy store on Jalan Raya Seminyak in Bali on Tuesday November 1st starting at 6:00 pm to share in what promises to be memorable evening of good times, starting with drinks, snacks, poster signing, product giveaways, and special gift promotions then meeting and chatting with these gorgeous Roxy girls to get the inside scoop on living the life of a woman pro surfer.

 

Headlining the trio is non other than 2010 and 2011 ASP Women’s World Tour Number 2 ranked Sally Fitzgibbons from Australia, who has the distinction of being the fastest and youngest pro surfer (man or women) ever to qualify for the ASP Women’s World Tour, winning the World Qualifying Series in her first year out and then going straight into the WCT in 2009.  Fitzgibbons hails from New South Wales and is just 20 years old.

 

Joining her will be Kassia Meador from California and Kelia Moniz from Hawaii, both of whom have gained tremendous popularity as two of the best and most stylish women longboarders in the world.

 

Roxy has also invited 30 kids from local schools to come and join in the evening’s festivities, so these lucky youngsters can meet face-to-face with real life women pro surfers and find out what life is like when your job is travel all around the world and surf.

 

Earlier in the day Sally will be given a tour of the Kuta Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center, where on behalf of Quiksilver and Roxy Indonesia she will hand over a cash donation in support of the on-going effort to preserve the endangered sea turtles of Bali and ensure their survival.  She will also be helping to release some newly hatched baby turtles back into the sea as part of her tour.

 

30% of the sales from a special edition turtle design T-shirt are donated to the Kuta Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center at period intervals, as Quiksilver and Roxy have been supporting the Center now for over two years.
