In the final minutes of the final heat of Round 4 today at the Oakley Pro 09 at Canggu Beach, top seeded Lee Wilson was eliminated by goofyfooter Rahtu Suargita when his last wave failed to score the 4.8 points necessary to regain the lead he had held for the first half of the heat, scoring only a 3.1.  more

Jamie O'Brien wins 2009 Rip Curl Cup Invitational at Padang Padang

O'Brien scored an unheard of four perfect 10s during the event, including two in the same heat during Round 2 for a flawless total heat score. He earned $2,000 for the win, but the prize money was secondary to the countless memorable barrels he made during his five rounds of competition.
